Real Estate Southern California’s third-annual “Toast to Top Brokers,” held on Sept 25 at Zucca Ristorante in Downtown Los Angeles, drew a crowd of about 200 of the region’s top deal-makers, their colleagues, friends, and family members.

The event honored brokers named to the magazine’s Ninth Annual Broker Hot List, which included eight professionals who reached or exceeded the $1-billion mark in a one-year span between May 2007 and April of this year, and many did so on the basis of $100-million-plus portfolio deals that helped put them over the top. The Broker Hot List highlighted the top 75 brokers—individuals and teams—ranked by the total value of their deals. To see the list, visit: BrokerAllStars2008.

A trophy presentation, cocktails, hours d’oeuvres and networking highlighted this year’s event, which also featured the Laker Girls and hand-rolled cigars by Mursuli Cigars of Temple City.
